METAL DETECTORS AT PARK ENTRANCES

The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority.
We need your assistance in an effort to make the park entry process as efficient as possible. Here's how you can help:
- Please leave all non-essential purses, backpacks, book bags, fanny packs and other bags and packages at home or locked in the trunk of your car.
- Please understand that all vehicles, packages and persons are subject to search upon entry. You may be asked to open purses, backpacks or other bags for inspection upon entry. Please note that food and drinks may not be brought into the park.
- Weapons of any kind and illegal substances are not permitted on Carowinds property. If these items are found during a search, the items and the individual may be turned over to law enforcement

GUEST SERVICES

We offer a variety of services to our guests including rental lockers inside the Park, lost and found, several ATM locations, first aid station staffed with EMTs, services for the disabled, stroller and wheelchair rentals, diaper changing areas and much more. For specific information, stop by Guest Services (located at the entrance gate), or ask any associate in the Park. Or call 704-588-2600 in North Carolina; 803-548-5300 in South Carolina.

This free guide explains the ride entry guidelines and procedures, provides specific information related to each attraction, and includes an Attraction Boarding Pass now required for the special access accommodations. |

DINING

More than 30 restaurants and snack stands provide a broad dining experience at Carowinds. Featured restaurants include: Carowinds Cafe (Carowinds Plaza), Nicktoons Cafe (Nickelodeon® Central), Outer Hanks (Carolina Boardwalk), Jukebox Diner (Thrill Zone), Wings (Carolina RFD) and Outback Shack (Boomerang Bay). Outside food and drink may not be brought into the Park. |

PET DAY-CARE FACILITY

Your pet deserves a day at the park. You can keep your pet safe and comfortable at our Pet Day-Care Center for just $10.00 per day! Limited space is available and is on a first come, first serve basis. Water is provided, but you should bring your own pet food and return to help rover stretch his legs periodically. Overnight pet stays are not permitted. Only service animals for the visually impaired are allowed in the park. All other animals are not permitted inside the park.

BABY CARE

Our in-park Baby Care Center offers a quiet facility in Nickelodeon Central where parents can feed and change their infants. There are also several diaper change facilities located in restrooms throughout the park.

PARKING

Carowinds offers ample parking adjacent to the park. Parking for autos and vans costs $10.00 per vehicle. Buses (25+ passengers) are free. Disabled parking is available. A drop-off area is located just past the entrance.

DIRECTIONS

Carowinds can't wait to see you at our front gate! The Park straddles the North Carolina-South Carolina state line and is located at SC exit #90 on Interstate I-77, just 15 minutes from uptown Charlotte and 12 miles north of Rock Hill, S.C. |
